- approval of Foxwoods Casino construction plan
- approval of American Commerce Building construction plan
- Mayor Michael Nutter’s Budget Cuts

The City of Philadelphia and its outlying suburbs affect each other
tremendously. Please consider the ways in which transparency of
governments in the Greater Philadelphia Region impact your community.

Some questions to get you started, but feel free to move in whatever
direction you like:

How can we continue to hold our public officials accountable?

What procedures and processes are necessary to foster more
transparency from our local and state elected officials?

Are there any other local, regional and state initiatives that passed
under the radar? How are they impacting your community? How did your
community find out about those initiatives?

How can we encourage the local and regional media to help us establish
transparent regional government?

We will be accepting submissions to these questions and other related topics until December 31st. Any appropriate submission may be shared on ChangeBloggerPA. If you have any questions (or if you are not a blogger but would like to make a submission), please contact me at dorie.risingup @ gmail . com.
